Arriving at your Life's Mission

Finding Your Calling Through Jungian Archetypology

  • 1 h

Service Description

Throughout my years as a therapist, I've observed an inner conflict between our inner longings and our outer expectations ie. "I know there's so much more to me but I feel stuck in my responsibilities". This profound restlessness often shows up as transition eg when parenting is no longer such a part of your life, following divorce or relationship breakdown, or simply the pressing urgency of knowing you are capable of more. Archetypology helps marry the responsibility to ourselves (our calling) with our life responsibilities (our positions) by gradually shifting our identity to be more in line with our essential selves. We've all heard of the Vision Board aka Mood Board or Pinterest Board, but did you know it all started with the father of modern psychology, Carl Jung's Archetypology? That's right, Carl Jung taught that we share a collective conscience, with which we communicate unconsciously, and that their influence can connect us with the part of ourselves that knows who we are, and where we are going, relative to all the resources we have available. The Archive for Research in Archetypal Symbolism, New York, have created a guide for creating a representation of your self and your calling. This group, facilitated from the comfort of your own home space, is an opportunity to feel, respond to, and capture your inner calling. Each week we will take: 5 minutes focused meditation 5 minutes on the weekly objective 30 minutes engaging deeply with the process 10 minutes one-on-one dyad (5-mins each) 5 minutes returning to the objective 5 minutes meditation Experience: - The trust of knowing you know who you are, - The conviction that you are responsible for your life, and - The ability to make sense of your individuation The six-weeks culminates in a visual collage of who you are and where you are going. In contrast to the extrinsically-motivated life-path conditioned, your Board clearly defines the deeper longings of your unconscious and body. Through one-to-one meditations (aka Marshall Rosenberg's Dyad) you'll have the chance to make sense of your calling in relation to responsibility and relationships. Join me in carving the path of your future. Saturdays 9:45-10:45 from 27th July. This six-week course is the first of a 3-part Series to be followed by Stephen Covey's "The Seven Habits of Highly Effective People", and Dinners-for-Six MasterMind Facilitation.
